I have always enjoyed the practice of collage and mixing different mediums to convey a story, share my experiences and memories, or express an idea or concept. I often blend photos, objects, texts, and other ephemera to create a visual journal that goes beyond the personal and taps into different temporal, cultural,  and affective phenomena. Collage allows me to layer, reassemble, and juxtapose fragments of different elements—just as memories are often fragmented, non-linear, layered, and reconstructed over time.
